Friday morning, Indiana State Police received a call from a motorist regarding a road rage incident.
It occurred on I-64 near the 21 mile-marker in Vanderburgh County.
The driver claims they passed a black Toyota Tacoma when the driver allegedly pointed a handgun toward them.
Troopers located the Tacoma near the 45 mile-marker in Warrick County.
The driver was identified as 69-year-old Allan Messmer of Celestine.
He was found to have an unloaded 9 mm handgun in his possession.
Messmer is being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail.
