A man is facing several charges after he allegedly fired a gun outside an Evansville apartment building.
Officers responded to the Arbors around 9:30 Saturday night after several reports of shots being fired.
Police say once on scene, Sherman Tate tried to direct them the wrong way, but they learned from witnesses that he was the one who fired the shots.
Tate had been hanging out with neighbors for a cookout when an argument began.
Nobody was hurt.
His charges include criminal recklessness and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
