A month-long drug investigation puts a dealer behind bars.
Monday, EPD detectives attempted to stop Kejuane Broomfield in the area of Woodbridge Drive.
Rather than stopping, Broomfield fled in his vehicle, striking several police cars.
Detectives were able to pin him in preventing his escape.
Officers had to break his window and use pepperball rounds to get him out of his vehicle after he refused.
During a search of Broomfield’s apartment, detectives found four pistols along with ammunition.
Also found were digital scales, fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana.
He was charged with several narcotics and weapons-related offenses and was lodged in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
