The Vanderburgh County Coroner has identified the victim killed on Kimber Lane as 23-year-old Trey Leavell.
Tuesday afternoon, police were called to the Kimber Green Apartment complex after receiving multiple reports of gunfire.
Leavell was transported to St. Vincent Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police eventually located the alleged shooter by use of K9’s and drones.
16-year-old Noah Hogan is charged with murder, Criminal Recklessness, Dangerous Possession of a Weapon by a child, and Obstruction of Justice.
Due to the nature of the crimes charged, Hogan has been waived to the adult court.
