One person was rescued from a house fire on Shamrock Circle in Newburgh.
The Ohio Township Fire Department received the call Thursday night just before 6:30.
The first arriving engine reported heavy fire and smoke on the first floor.
A resident told firefighters that a family member was still inside the home.
The victim was located and transported to the hospital.
The fire was out within 20 minutes of arrival.
Crews remained on the scene to conduct salvage and overall operations.
The victim’s condition is unknown.
The fire is under investigation.
