Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson says that the office is seeking the termination of one of its employees.
Deputy Evan Luigs was recently arrested for driving while drunk.
Last Saturday, Deputies and Indiana State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident near Highway 41 and Ruffian Way.
Luigs, who was off duty at the time, was showing signs of intoxication.
This arrest comes just over one year after he received a 15-day suspension involving two separate alcohol related policy violations.
Luigs is currently on suspension without pay.
