Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced that the state has been awarded nearly $2.3 million for riverport improvements.
The Henderson County Riverport Authority is set to receive over $320,000 to replace a mobile conveyor system with a new electric material handler.
The Owensboro Riverport Authority won two awards totaling more than $200,000 to buy a new yard tractor and a new forklift.
This is the final round of grants before the next budget is set this legislative session.
