An animal complaint has led to the arrest of an Evansville man following a rape investigation.
Last month, a rape allegation was made against 24-year-old Zakari Plouchard.
The victim says the sexual assault happened at her apartment following a consensual meet-up.
On Monday, EPD was called to Plouchard’s home on Nevada Court for several dogs running around.
Officers say the home was in poor shape and covered in waste.
He is in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
