Members of the Union Ridge Community Church are sifting through the ashes after fire destroyed the Belton, Kentucky landmark.
The fire was a tough one for firefighters as strong winds kept re-igniting it.
Pastor Derrick Cobb says th church, built in the 1800s, stood empty for a decade until his congregation moved in about 3 months ago.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
