Snow flurries occurred before dawn this morning, creating hazardous driving conditions.
The snow would blow over road surfaces and freeze, leading to dozens of slide-offs and some bad wrecks.
That included a 12-car pile-up on State Road 231 between Huntingburg and Jasper.
There were no reports of injuries.
Tell City-Troy Township schools and Perry Central Community Schools were delayed two hours.
