Grants Awarded To Two Historic Tri-State Churches

The Indiana Landmarks’ Sacred Places Indiana Fund has awarded $2.4 million to 14 churches across the state.

Two of those historic houses of worship are located right here in the tri-state.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Downtown Evansville will receive $285,000 for the total replacement of its nearly 100-year-old slate roof.

St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Vincennes will receive $100,000 to restore masonry at the 1826 basilica and adjacent historic library.
