The newest approach to school safety was announced during a Warrick County school board meeting yesterday.
Superintendent Dr. Abbie Redmond says the district will implement the CEIA OpenGate system for $300,000.
Safety concerns were heightened after a Castle High School student brought a gun onto the property.
School officials are finalizing the ordering process.
A security system will be put into place at each district high school.
There is no exact time as to when this will happen.
