Evansville Police were called to the Village Green Apartments Saturday evening for a report of a naked man walking around the complex.
55-year-old Scott Cummings was found inside one of the units by a person returning a dog to his nephew.
The witness told police he had never met Cummings.
He was ordered out of the apartment, but refused.
There was a brief struggle when officers entered the apartment to arrest Cummings.
One officer was injured.
He is facing several charges, including public indecency, public intoxication by drugs, resisting law enforcement, and causing bodily injury.
