Booth 34: West Side Christian Church
S’mores Burger. A new item for the festival, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. A unite mixture of melted gooey marshmallow on a savory burger. We always appreciate Fall Festival innovation.
Booth 35: Howell United Methodist Church.
Hand dipped pronto pup. Hot & juicy pronto pup with a light, flavorful batter. A Fall Festival icon. And honestly, the easiest type of food to eat while walking down the street.
Booth 36: Twin Towers.
The loaded spud. A hearty baked potato piled with pull pork, cheese, sour cream, and additional extras if you’d like. If you’re looking for something to fill you up, this will do it.
Booth 37: Mt. Pleasant Church:
Thanksgiving parfait. All the fixings of a Thanksgiving meal, in a cup. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and topped with cranberry sauce. Have your Thanksgiving meal a month early on Franklin.
Booth 38: U.S.I. Art Club College of Liberal Arts.
“Elotes” Street Corn. Street corn with a tangy flavor, and served with optional shredded cheese and sour cream. A perfect item while on the go at the festival.
Booth 39: West Side Kiwanis Club.
Fajita chicken salad. This booth’s best-seller, and it’s on the Fall Festival healthy choices menu. Light & healthy, with tender grilled chicken. With fajita sauce and a drizzle of ranch.
Booth 40: River Bend Association.
Gumbo. A great gumbo with andouille sausage, rice, and veggies. If you’re looking for Cajun flavor on Franklin, this booth has you covered. Well spiced and hearty.
Booth 42: Armstrong Rec. Center.
Brownie Sundae. If you’re craving dessert, this sundae offers a chewy brownie covered with ice cream, whipped topping, and sprinkles. A great Fall Festival “comfort food” dessert.
Booth 43: Corpus Christi Chuckwagon.
Sausage burger: This Fall Festival staple never disappoints. A mild sausage patty with juicy pickles and onions optional, savory and satisfying.
Booth 44: St. Joe Men’s Club.
Brat burger. We love an item that tells you exactly what it is. This is a tasty, juicy bratwurst patty on a bun. Hearty and filling.
Booth 45: Boy Scout Troop 374.
Mac & cheese bites. Deep fried mac & cheese, in bite sized form. A nice, light batter, encasing creamy mac & cheese. A great finger food option to eat on the go.
Booth 46: Evansville Lutheran School.
Pronto pup. Possibly the most iconic of all Fall Festival food. This booth’s take on the classic is juicy, with a sweet batter casing. Exactly what you want from a pronto pup.
Booth 47: EVV Racing Pigeons Club.
Butterbeer popsicle. This will be a must for Harry Potter fans. It’s exactly what it sounds like. The famous butterbeer from the wizarding world, in popsicle form.
Booth 48: Salem Church of Heulser.
Grasshopper mint brownie sundae. Probably the prettiest thing we sampled on Franklin this year. And the flavor didn’t disappoint either. A perfect brownie, covered in thin mint ice cream and chocolate.
Booth 49: Vanderburgh County GOP.
Natural pineapple & mango shaved ice. If you want to feel like you’re on the Hawaiian Islands while strolling Franklin, this is your stop. A big scoop of shaved ice, with refreshing and lots of tasty natural flavors.
Booth 50: New Life Rescue.
Brisket nachos. This new item will satisfy the barbeque brisket fan. Nacho chips covered in smoked brisket and topped with cheese, green onions, queso, and sour cream. The only booth offering smoked brisket we saw on Franklin.
Booth 52: Harrison Instrumental Band Boosters.
Cheeseburger egg rolls. Part of what makes eating at the Fall Festival fun is the unique items that you just don’t see every day. This is definitely one of them. Deep fried eggrolls with beef & cheese, and served with thousand island dipping sauce.
Booth 53: Simpson UMC.
Loaded tots. This item wraps multiple comfort foods up into one. Tater tots, covered with either pulled pork or taco meat, finished off with sour cream and barbeque sauce. Additional toppings are also available.
Booth 54: TTT Ministries Christian Youth.
Corn dog. If you’re looking for a corn dog on Franklin, you can’t go wrong with this one. The first thing we noticed is the size of these dogs, it should definitely fill you up. A juicy dog, with a tasty sweet batter coating.
Booth 55: Salem United Methodist Scouts Pack 335.
Pork parfait. You can’t go wrong with mashed potatoes, pulled pork, and cheese, drizzled with tangy barbeque sauce. The flavor combination is always a winner, and a belly filler.
Booth 56: West Side Catholic Schools PTO – St. Agnes.
Peanut butter fudge. As much as we get caught up in some of the crazy foods on Franklin, it’s good to also remember that some of the best items are actually the most simple. The peanut butter fudge at this booth is melt in your mouth yummy.
Booth 57: West Side Catholic Schools PTO – Sacred Heart.
Pronto pup. So many folks look forward to the Fall Festival each year just to get their pronto pup! This booth offers a classic pup, hot, fresh, and juicy. If a pronto pup is one of your Franklin Street “must haves” give this one a shot.
Booth 58: F.J. Reitz Band Boosters.
French waffle. One of the oldest Fall Festival treats. This booth offers 1 item, and it’s the French waffle. Get a single one, or buy them by the bag to enjoy all week. A delicate dessert, dusted with powdered sugar.
Booth 61: Lamba Chi Alpha.
Philly cheese steak. These fun guys have the most energetic booth on Franklin. If you’re craving a cheese steak this week, stop by this booth. Tender steak, melted cheese, and flavor you expect from a solid Philly cheese steak.
Booth 62: Cleaves Memorial Church.
Chess pie. This was the only booth we found offering this dessert, and it’s done perfectly. Sweet and tasty, with a great flaky crust. When your sweet tooth hits you on Franklin, this chess pie will satisfy your craving.
Booth 63: Memorial Booster Club.
Stromboli. This is another one of those iconic Fall Festival foods. If you’re one of those people that put stromboli at the top of your “must have” food on Franklin Street, give this one shot. A generous portion that will fill you up.
Booth 65: Reitz Varsity Scholarship Club.
Pork mac bowl. Double the comfort food on this one, with your choice of pulled pork or shredded chicken covering creamy mac & cheese. If you’re craving barbeque and mac & cheese, why not have both in one item?
Booth 66: Northwoods Church / Redeemer Fellowship.
Grippos walking taco. A clever twist on the walking taco. A bag of Grippos, cut open sideways, with all the ingredients of a walking taco inside. Add sour cream and hot honey to the mix for even more flavor. What better food item to “walk” down Franklin.
Booth 67: St. Peter’s On The Hill.
Tater kegs. Imagine a tater tot…now supersize it. That’s exactly what these crispy finger food gives you. Crunch on the outside, with cheese and bacon bits on the inside.
