An Evansville woman is facing charges after being accused of stealing patient information.
A 48-year-old Amanda Jones was renting a space inside the Life in Motion Family Wellness Center, but was evicted for non-payment of rent.
Police were called after patients of the wellness center were contacted by Jones’s new place of employment.
Business records show Jones accessed patient files on two different dates after she left the business.
She is charged with an offense against intellectual property and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
