The Evansville West Side Nut Club held its annual Founder’s Day Banquet Tuesday evening.
Club members gave out nearly $700,000 to non-profits, schools, first responders, and other organizations.
Cops Connecting with Kids and Ozanam Family Shelter were each given $25,000.
Club Chairman Evan Brinkmeyer says this event and the gifts given out are what the Nut Club’s ultimate purpose is.
The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival runs from October 6 through the 11th.
This year’s theme is Better Together.
