Search crews in Henderson say they may have uncovered items of interest during a search in the Heather Teague investigation.
Crews searched an area behind Cagey’s Store on Highway 811, not far from Newburgh Beach, where Teague went missing 30 years ago.
Teague’s mother, Sarah, says there was a tip twenty years ago that Heather may have been buried inside a well.
Search crews found some bone fragments, but police believe they are most likely animal bones.
Those will be taken to the medical examiner’s office in Louisville today to help make a determination.
