A student at the University of Kentucky and a member of the Kentucky stunt team has been arrested in connection with the death of a baby whose body was found in a trash bag in a closet.
21-year-old Laken Snelling was arrested Sunday and charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and concealing the birth of an infant.
Snelling is identified as the infant’s mother.
A UK spokesperson says Snelling is a senior and is currently enrolled in classes at the university.
She’ll be arraigned on the charges this afternoon.
