A death investigation is under way after Evansville police were sent on a medical run in the 3300 block of East Gum Street.
Arriving units found a female who was described as “beyond life saving efforts.”
She died at the scene.
The name of the deceased will be released later by the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office.
