Two people were arrested, and one person was hurt while Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith was speaking at the Ohio County Trustee Office yesterday.
A woman from the crowd was asked to leave after refusing to stop yelling “expletives”.
As deputies were escorting her out, she allegedly pushed one of them.
A man who tried to intervene was also arrested.
Local authorities requested assistance from State Police, the Vanderburgh Sheriff’s Office, and EPD.
Warrick County Sheriff Michael Wilder says due to the number of people involved, it will take time to review all the evidence.
