An Evansville man is charged after a shootout near the Glenwood neighborhood.
It happened about 7 p.m. Saturday when police responded after around 20 shots were heard.
A 911 caller reported seeing a shootout between a man with an AR-style rifle and two other combatants.
Officers developed Brandon Whitehead as one of those involved.
He was found with a foot wound.
Officers found an AR-15 under Whitehead’s mattress as well as ammo and a handgun.
