An Evansville man was arrested and is facing animal neglect charges.
Last night, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a residence on Belmar Lane after receiving a tip regarding 52-year-old Michael Scott Jr.
Upon entering the residence, deputies detected a strong odor of urine and observed unsanitary living conditions.
A woman with debilitating health issues was taken to the hospital.
A dog in the home was malnourished and in poor condition.
Scott had 5 active warrants for his arrest, including one for delinquent child support.
