A woman is dead, and the suspect has been arrested following a shooting in Vincennes.
Around 1:00 Tuesday afternoon, police were called to the Cardinal Liquor Store on N. 6th Street for a shooting.
Officers found 30-year-old Taylor Hendershot on the ground of the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
The suspect, 32-year-old Dylan Allen Smith, left the scene in a black SUV.
Smith was eventually found inside his home armed with a knife.
He was taken into custody and charged with murder after a standoff that lasted several hours.
