Over the weekend, a Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in an accident.
Another car sideswiped his marked patrol car near East Columbia and North Morton Avenue.
30-year-old Edin Hernandez didn’t stop and led deputies on a low-speed pursuit through a nearby neighborhood.
He was eventually stopped and admitted to drinking before driving.
He also said he had never been issued a driver’s license.
