An Evansville man is expected to spend the next few decades behind bars after stabbing the mother of his two children.
Back in 2023, Fenel Germain violently stabbed his wife, 25-year-old Nerlande Germain-Charles, at an apartment on East Michigan Street.
Officers took him into custody after he called 911.
There were two small children present who were unharmed.
Germain admitted to killing his wife after an argument erupted.
Germain was sentenced to 20 years in prison for manslaughter
