Evansville’s Lilly King swam in the World Aquatic Championships in Singapore.
She placed 4th in the 100-meter breaststroke.
That places her 9th overall in the semifinals but does not qualify for the finals.
She is now preparing to swim the 50-meter breaststroke races.
She will compete in the sixth heat Friday night at 10:05 Evansville time.
King has announced she will retire from competitive swimming at the end of this season.
