Blue Bridge Closure Is Scheduled For Monday

The planned 90-day closure of the Blue Bridge in downtown Owensboro is scheduled to begin after evening rush hour on Monday, July 14.

Crews will begin placing signage and message boards today.

Traffic needing to cross the Ohio River between Kentucky and Indiana should use the U.S. 231 Natcher Bridge.

Over 7,000 vehicles cross the 85-year-old bridge daily.
