The Evansville African American Museum has lost some of its funding because of federal and state-level budget cuts.
To make up for the loss, the museum will roll out a new program in August called EAAM Power.
Beyond their usual exhibits, people can pay to gain access to exclusive events and activities.
You can go behind the scenes to see artifacts rarely on public display.
Also available are craft workshops, yoga, and Thirsty Thursdays.
Museum officials say the fee-based programs are more than just a fundraiser; they raise awareness about how crucial these institutions are.
