A federal judge has granted a temporary restraining order, stopping preparations to close Job Corps centers nationwide.
National Job Corps filed a lawsuit Tuesday saying saying steps to eliminate the program, initiated by DOGE, are illegal.
The suit argues that since the Job Corps program was created by Congress, it cannot be eliminated by the Department of Labor.
The Earl C. Clements Job Corps Academy in Morganfield, Kentucky, is the nation’s second-largest center in the nation with over 500 students.
