Madisonville Police arrested a woman Wednesday after she claimed she was doing laundry in the house she allegedly broke into.
The homeowner told police he woke up to the suspect, later identified as Gabrielle Caldwell, standing over him with a sharp object.
He then asked her to leave, but she refused and began undressing.
He then ran out the door to get away until police arrived.
Police say Caldwell claimed she was doing laundry.
Caldwell was found to be under the influence and was arrested and charged with burglary.
