Saturday afternoon, first responders were dispatched to Skylane Airport in Evansville regarding an aircraft experiencing landing gear failure.
Once on the scene, deputies made contact with the pilot.
He told deputies that during landing, the nose gear collapsed, causing the plane to pitch forward on the runway.
The aircraft sustained visible damage, including a bent nose gear, damaged wooden propellers, and impact damage to the underside of the fuselage.
No injuries were reported.
