Flooding Forces New Entrance Way Into Henderson Landfill

Rising river levels have necessitated the relocation of the entrance to the Henderson Landfill.

The temporary entrance has been redirected through Green River Road.

This will be the only way to and from the transfer station until further notice.

This change may result in delays and slower processing times.

The City of Henderson strongly encourages the public to delay any visits to the landfill if possible.

There will be no trash pickup on April 18 due to the Good Friday holiday.
