Evansville Event Taking Steps In Preventing Drug Abuse

If you’ve got unneeded prescription drugs you want to get rid of, here’s a chance.

Vanderburgh County sheriff’s deputies are taking part in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

It’ll be Saturday, April 26th, starting at 10:00 am at the sheriff’s office on Harlan Avenue.

The event encourages households to get rid of unneeded medications as a means of preventing drug abuse.
