Two People Busted For Drugs During Traffic Stop

Two people were arrested on Monday following a traffic stop in Gibson County.

A deputy was on Highway 41 near County Road 800 South in Fort Branch when he spotted a vehicle unable to stay in its lane.

While speaking with the driver, 40-year-old Carla Embry, the deputy detected clues that drug activity was or had recently taken place in the vehicle.

With the assistance of K-9 Duke, a roadside drug investigation was performed.

Embry and her passenger, 46-year-old Paul Abshear, are both facing drug charges.
