A trial date is set for an Evansville man charged with attempted murder.
Back in January, Vanderburgh County deputies were called to Char Mar Lane regarding a domestic battery situation.
During the altercation, Braxton Morris grabbed a crossbow, loaded it, and fired an arrow that missed the victim and hit a staircase railing.
The victim sustained multiple injuries, including a broken wrist and a head injury.
Morris is scheduled to go on trial on July 7.
