Girl’s Abduction Was Allegedly Made Up By Friends

Monday evening, Henderson dispatch received an anonymous call that a 10-year-old girl had been abducted.

A second call came from a home on the same block, saying their granddaughter had just been taken in a white van.

These calls prompted a large law enforcement response and a massive social media campaign by concerned residents across the tri-state.

After the girl was found, officers determined that her friends had made the abduction up.

At this time, no criminal charges have been filed.
