Over the last few days, drivers may have noticed signs on the Henderson strip notifying them of impending construction and lane restrictions.
Starting tomorrow, crews plan to begin work on a safety project along the outside north and southbound sides.
Two Restricted Crossing U-Turns will be placed at the intersections of Wolf Hills Drive and Stratman Road.
Between 2019 and 2022, 94 crashes were recorded at that intersection, five of which resulted in injury or death.
According to KYTC, most of the work will happen after 6:00 pm.
The 4 million dollar project will be completed in October.
