Governor’s Wife Looking For Donors To Help Fund Book Gifting Program

Indiana Governor Mike Braun is trying to find a way to keep Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the state.

Last week, teachers in Warrick County expressed concern after the governor proposed removing Parton’s book-gifting program from the state budget.

Now, Braun has asked First Lady Maureen Braun to spearhead an initiative to continue funding.

She’ll look for donors and other financial opportunities.
