A bar fight led to shots being fired and the arrest of one man.
It happened about 2:30 on Sunday morning.
An off-duty officer was working at the Corner Pocket Bar on Fulton Avenue when a fight involving 10 to 12 people broke out.
The officer took several of the combatants outside the bar where the argument went on.
That’s when the officer heard several shots coming from the parking lot.
He says 43-year-old Darius Wells of Jeffersonville ran from the area, clutching something in his shirt.
He was arrested on gun and drug charges.
