A total of 29 defendants have been sentenced to federal prison for their participation in an organized meth and fentanyl trafficking syndicate that operated in Southern Indiana.
Their combined sentences amounted to 378 years.
Between January 2020 and November 2021, those 29 people conspired to distribute almost 500 pounds of meth and three kilograms of fentanyl.
The announcement of the sentencing comes from the United States Attorney’s Office in Evansville.
