It’s now being used as a street drug with a potentially deadly outcome.
It is illegal in Indiana to sell nitrous oxide for the purpose of intoxication.
Excise Police have cited 18 businesses with tobacco certification for selling it.
Overuse of nitrous oxide can lead to heart attack, seizures, or even death.
