A suspected serial killer from the Tri-State area has been convicted in Indianapolis of killing a woman 18 years ago.
Bruce Mendenhall is already serving two life sentences for killing two women in Tennessee.
He’ll be sentenced on this latest conviction on February 13th.
Mendenhall was a long-haul trucker from Edwards County Illinois, and is suspected in the murders of at least nine other women in several states.
The latest conviction is for the murder of Carma Purpura in Indianapolis.
