A two-hour-long standoff in the 2400 block of Bittel Road in Owensboro ends peacefully with police arresting two people.
OPD says the standoff stems from an investigation that began last month.
That’s when police responded to the Custom Car Stereo on Salem Drive where a man got mad and pointed a gun at employees before leaving the store.
Detectives yesterday traced the man—29-year-old Jeremy Willis from Virginia—to the home on Bittel Road.
Willis refused to exit the home and barricaded himself inside.
The incident was resolved with three people inside surrendering peacefully.
Detectives found two guns inside and evidence of drug trafficking.
Chris Sam, a 29-year-old man from Louisville, was also inside the home and faces charges.
