Evansville city leaders announce the city and Welborn Foundation will receive a $20 million Community Change grant.
The money will come from the U-S Environmental Protection Agency Office of Environmental Justice.
The grant will be used to help the city transition to lower-emission transportation to improve air quality.
That’ll happen through new “mobility hubs” that will appear around the city to help ease accessibility to both public and private transportation modes.
