There has been a change of plea for Mariama Wilson, the former Pigeon Township Trustee accused of conspiracy and theft.
She was sentenced to three years probation.
There will be no fine, but she is ordered to pay back $38,000 in restitution to the Pigeon Township Trustees Office.
That restitution is split up between herself and two others William Payne and Terrance Hardiman.
Authorities accused all three suspects of being involved in a kickback scheme and stealing nearly $40,000 in taxpayer money.
