An Evansville man has been charged with rape and is being held on a $50,000 bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
Police began an investigation on 22-year-old Carlos Rodriguez Geronimo back in June.
That’s when the alleged victim spoke with authorities at Holly’s House.
The two met on Snapchat.
Geronimo appeared in court on Monday where he entered a not guilty plea.
He had just reached a plea agreement in a fraud and theft case.
The sentencing on that case is on November 7.
