A $350,000 federal grant has been awarded to the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s office.
The money will permit the hiring of more interns for the high-tech crimes unit.
The department allows them to run electronic devices like cell phones and pull digital evidence from them.
That’s often critical information at trial.
