VHS Taking In Pets Displaced From Hurricane Helene

The Vanderburgh Humane Society is making room for displaced pets from Florida.

26 dogs and 16 cats are due to arrive in town this afternoon.

Those animals will be cared for at the VHS Facility and eventually adopted out.

It helps the Florida shelters take in displaced animals and increases the likelihood of reunions of pets with pet parents.
