Bidding For Demolition Of Warehouse Destroyed By Fire Begins Next Month

The City of Evansville is making significant progress with the demolition of the Morton Avenue Warehouse site.

The warehouse itself was the scene of a spectacular fire that destroyed the building two years ago yesterday.

A raze order has been issued for the shell of the building.

Mayoral Communications Director Joe Atkinson says the bidding process will begin next month with a contract to be let in early 2025.
