Expect Higher Heating Bills This Winter

CenterPoint Energy is informing customers about an increase in this winter’s natural gas bill.

This year, customers expect to pay an average of $129 monthly from November through March.

Last year’s average bill for the same duration was $110 a month.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of CenterPoint’s array of payment assistance options such as the Budget Bill Program.

This program estimates costs for gas service and spreads it out in equal payments throughout the year.
